They create a barrier film layer on top of the skin and underneath tapes, skin barriers, hydrocolloid dressings and adhesives. These AllKare® barrier wipes protect your skin from the irritation, excoriation and build-up of adhesives that can occur as a result of the use of medical products. Each wipe is non-water soluble to help them stay in place and remain effective, even if the skin gets wet. These skin barrier wipes help prevent skin from being stripped or becoming irritated when removing adhesives. They come in individual packets to keep them clean and to help prevent cross-contamination.
